Sabins in Maui

We had a great time in Maui - especially Will! We indulged in the sun, sand, Mai Tais (not Will) and delicious fruit and lots of fish! I am surprised Will still isn't puckered from all his time in the pool and ocean. We finally drove the road to Hana and are still married and I didn't puke once! It was great to relax and enjoy the warmth of Hawaii. Only thing better would be to have friends and/or family there next time!

Will really enjoys his new ukelele and his blow up dolphin! Good to be home, but planning our next vacation now!

The Sabin's Summer

It was an eventful summer for the Sabins - and particularly Will!

In May - (pre-summer I know) Will and I ventured out to Florida on our own to attend my brother's graduation. It was exciting to see my brother graduate and I am so happy he has a job! But I think the highlight for Will was playing on the beach in Boca! He was overwhelmed with attention from aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins. It was a blast!

Will finally got to meet his cousin Chase when my cousin Alisha and her husband Shawn came up to Seattle!

July was filled with fun from the family birthday party over the 4th of July weekend with the Sabin aunties, great uncle Philip and grandparents and great-grandparents in tow to a "Day Out with Thomas"! I don't think we have ever seen Will so excited. It was a beautiful day - we did nearly every Thomas activity (including the requisite gift shop) and even got to take a ride on Thomas!

August was a beautiful month and Will got three full days of Blue Angels! We walked down to the lake to watch the "blue flowers" as Will calls them and it was definitely a treat. Later in August we went out to Denver to visit my parents and also got to see my brother. Will had his first horseback riding experience with Mr. Tiddlywinks and learned Guitar Hero. Although I think the highlight was really riding up and down the elevator in my parents house! Glad grandma is patient!

In September Will helped Daddy build a porch swing!

It was a fun time and we are definitely not ready for the rain!

Will's Big 3!

Will turned 3 on Friday, April 18! He had a blast! Cake eating, bouncy housing and a rockin good time was had by friends and family. He was spoiled for sure! It is hard to believe he is 3 already. Definitely a little boy into all cars, trains, construction, Diego and the Backyardigans. He is officially afraid of "sharks" especially in his bedroom. We are moving out of the Terrible Twos and into the Holy crap Threes!

Alec's First Birthday!

Today was Alec's first birthday. The party was held at the Phinney Ridge Neighborhood Center. Will had a blast both pre- and post- cupcake. It is hard to believe Alec is already one! It was fun to see all the little baby boys. Garrett and Will are not in that camp anymore - undoubtedly little boys now. Hopefully we didn't scare too many parents or little ones.

The party was fun, pizza and cupcakes delicious and of course the best part was the company! It was great to catch up. Alec looked adorable and it was great to catch up with friends and meet Roman Walbrun! See all the photos off to the side. Will played with Garrett and their balls and ran around screaming.

The funniest part of the day was the ride home. Will kept saying - "Today is Wednesday, February Forst, 2008." Must be something from school. We had a pretty entertaining grocery store trip as well. I think Will's first job may be grocery bagger. He had to help the checker scan and bag the groceries. Sorry to all the people behind us!

Hope all is well!
